  • Match the color scheme of the page
  • Have too many frames for animation
  • Make animated images slow enough to read
  • Make the animation go too fast
  • Save animated images as an Animated GIF
  • Make your header image animated
  • Save header images as a GIF
  • Make either of the graphics too busy looking
